SNS, a New Focus of Communication Paradigm.pdf
The SNS storms over the ad industry as a social phenomenon. In the Cannes Lions International 2009, the
ads using the SNSs such as twitter won the major prizes and interests. Various strategies for marketing communication
through SNS are being developed. In addition, their applicability to the evaluation of the effectiveness
of ads will make them a new powerful tool in the ad industry. The influence of SNS on the ad industry is
analyzed with the discussions in the Social Media Sharing Meeting held by The i Division of Cheil Worldwide,
and an effective communication methodology using SNS is suggested on the basis of the case studies in the
overseas market.
